Since 1960’s, Italian fashion has been long distinguished as a prodominant leader in production and high fashion trends across the globe. Quality and craftsmanship are characteristic of Italian products still to this day. However today’s fashion is not about products anymore. Photography, communication and art are deeply rooted in the style industry and the agglomeration of fashion is moving towards intangible forms – the internet. It would be neglectful to ignore the presence of global connections through the web and many new businesses would not sustain without this aspect in their company. We see Rome at a stand still because of that lack of online activity.
