Talent, technology and tolerance are the driving forces for an innovative city as described by Richhard Florida. But in respects to an Italian context it is imperative to consider a region’s culture. Context and culture is embedded as a resource in the production and attraction of knowledge (as an indicator of wealth) in Milan. We must consider its location, pace, tradition and craft to understand what is innovative in Milan.
